Working within the Secret Escapes Administration team this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful growing business in a fast paced and varied position. Your primary role will be to assist with the smooth running of the Sales Administration Team.

Secret Escapes operates a hybrid working policy and we are all in the office 2-3 days a week. This role will be based in our Travelist office in Poland.

In keeping with being an inspirational travel brand, we also have a ‘Work from Anywhere’ policy, so you can work from anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks each year!

Problems we are trying to solve

How do we develop a best-in-class global hotel production function that’s able to adapt to the ever-evolving requirements of the travel industry while remaining efficient, consistent and accurate?

Things you’ll be working on

  • Day-to-day management, development and support of a team 5 to 7 Sales Administrators

  • Full ownership of your Hotel Production team’s output. Tracking of and following up on OKRs and SLAs focussed on accuracy and efficiency

  • Leading by example. Setting a gold standard for achievement.

  • Being the escalation point for any production issues – working closely with other teams in the business such as Customer Services, Tech, Sales, Finance, Destination management.

  • Working with our Sales Team to ensure our deals and offers are loaded correctly

  • Constant best-practice review of operational processes 

  • Working with other Team Leads and Operations Managers as part of the Global Operations Management Team to improve the Secret Escapes supply chain

  • Involvement in QA at Secret Escapes to ensure our content is always accurate

  • Being able to run projects from start to end, understanding implications, rolling out, reviewing feedback and working closely with relevant stakeholders

  • Ability to take decisions, support arguments with data and handle complex discussions 

 

What you will bring:

  • Previous team leadership experience

  • Ability to work autonomously and to take initiatives, but also to work as part of a team

  • Problem solving skills

  • Proficient in Excel, and comfortable building reports and drawing actionable insight from data

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels

  • Fluency in English
