Secret Escapes operates a hybrid working policy and we are all in the office 3 days a week. This role will be based in our Travelist office in Poland. We offer flexible working with core hours between 10 am to 4 pm, and you have the freedom to schedule the remaining hours to suit your routine.

The Role:
Whilst different CRM team members are focused on individual territories and activities, we all come together as a CRM team to work on shared strategic projects. This collaboration is critical to our culture, shared progress and excellent team spirit. This position will be responsible for the build and management of Secret Escapes email marketing templates, maintenance and adding to the expanding library of email automations. Ensuring templates are built to spec, on time, and best practice across new builds and automated templates. The ideal candidate is someone who has previously had some experience with using user data to make dynamic templates that use logic to change and pull in information. What you’ll be doing:

Leading day to day coordination of HTML email from building briefs through to creative liaison and final sign off

Work closely with design and crm teams to continuously develop our templates and visuals to ensure our emails stand out and maximise engagement

Testing, proofing, and signing off of emails for all templates ensuring that links, content, and language is correct and on brand

Ensuring that best practice email design is always used to ensure maximum optimisation and deliverability

Maintaining and development of integrations and architecture of the Email platform, ensuring technical modifications are made to ensure the platform is efficient and improving. Pushing boundaries, tackling new and emerging email trends

Being a member of the CRM team attending team meetings, and ensuring that the process flow from idea to delivery is smooth

Identify, share, and drive best practice and learning’s (including to international territories), become the centre of expertise for the email function

Creating and maintain dynamic content that will populate the emails, push and in-app messages with personalised information

Providing technical support to other members of the wider team.
Your will bring:

Previous experience working in email development/production within a large scale CRM/marketing function

Experience in building scalable, personalised marketing automations

Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is required

Experience with creating data driven messages using dynamic personalisation coding languages (i.e. AMPScript, Liquid, Handlebars.js)

Excellent command of architecture for responsive email as well as understanding of email best practice and accessibility

Strong understanding of email development best practices, email client limitations and their workarounds, and experience developing for dark model
