Junior Fraud and Chargeback Specialist

We are seeking an individual to assist our Fraud Team in ensuring our e-commerce platform is free from deceptive activity and in disputing payment claims made by members through their card issuer.

The role is based in Poland but will be cooperating with the Team based in Warsaw, London, Amsterdam and Berlin.

The Role:

You will be responsible for screening payments on a daily basis and reviewing cases submitted to us, gathering evidence to dispute the claim and making representation through the relevant 3rd party system. 

Things you will be working on:

• Reviewing payments and bookings to ascertain whether they were made by legitimate members

• Analysing  payment disputes in regard to their legitimacy and implement appropriate deterrence measures to avoid revenue loss

• Gathering evidence and information for representation of chargebacks

• Maintaining comprehensive records and files relating to investigation work

• Providing all verbal and written communications in an accurate and clear manner

• Escalating with external and internal stakeholders whenever required by procedures

You will bring..

• Familiarity with investigation techniques in open source databases and knowledge of payment instruments in ecommerce
• Experience in Microsoft Office Package/Google Workspace, Salesforce, Stripe
• English proficiency on at least B2

• Basic knowledge of card schemes and the way they operate

• Potential experience with anti-fraud rules and procedures
