Our experienced Social Media Manager elevates our organic social channels in Germany and the UK and brings our travel stories to life. They combine creative flair with platform expertise and understand how to build engaged communities around aspirational content. They are hands-on, driving forward our communities, content planning and creation, engaging with customers, briefing other teams such as the studio and influencers team and using staff stays to drive forward engagement. They’ll stay ahead of the curve, trying new things and be a link into the paid teams and creative producers with what works and what could be ads. They will work with the Senior Content Manager on strategy, and have a grasp and understanding of reporting, so they truly understand what works and how it fits into our broader business.

The Team

Reporting into the Senior Content Manager, this role sits in the Studio team, and you will work closely with the wider Marketing team. You will join a vibrant, diverse, fun, creative and welcoming team.

The role and things you’ll be working on:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

Help shape and deliver the social media strategy across priority platforms (primarily Instagram and TikTok), ensuring activity supports wider brand and marketing goals. Translate strategic direction into clear content plans and channel best practices.

Content Direction & Creation

Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality, visually compelling social content aligned to our luxury positioning. Create, commission and curate content across formats (Reels, TikTok, Stories, static), working from concept through to execution.

Creator & Influencer Collaboration

Work closely with the Influencer team to support the planning, briefing and rollout of creator and influencer content across social channels. Ensure influencer posts are optimised for organic performance, align with brand guidelines, and are integrated seamlessly into the wider social content plan.

Community & Brand Voice

Manage the day-to-day community experience across social channels, ensuring a consistent, confident and premium tone of voice. Engage with audiences thoughtfully and proactively, escalating issues where needed and helping build long-term brand affinity.

Campaign Support & Delivery

Play a key role in planning and executing organic social campaigns, collaborating closely with marketing, editorial, brand, paid, and influencer teams. Support launches, promotions and seasonal moments with creative, insight-led social content.

Performance & Optimisation

Monitor channel performance against agreed KPIs, producing regular reports and insights. Use data to inform content decisions, optimise performance and identify opportunities for growth across both owned and creator-led content. Manage a modest organic boost budget to amplify high-performing content and support key moments, working in alignment with the paid media team where required.

Trends & Platform Expertise

Stay on top of social trends, platform updates and emerging formats, bringing new ideas and inspiration to the team while ensuring they align with brand guidelines and objectives.

Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, brand, design, and Influencer teams, to ensure social content is aligned, timely, and cohesive across the wider customer journey.

You will bring:

  • 3–5 years’ experience managing social media channels for a consumer-facing brand (travel, lifestyle or luxury a strong advantage).

  • German and English proficiency should be in line with native speakers as you’ll be managing our German and English channels.  

  • Experience working with creators (internal and external) and influencer teams, including content briefing, review and optimisation for social platforms.

  • Proven experience running Instagram and TikTok accounts, with a strong understanding of what drives engagement on each platform.

  • Excellent visual storytelling and content planning skills, with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Hands-on experience creating short-form video content, including filming and basic editing.

  • Confidence using social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Emplifi or similar).

  • Strong copywriting skills and an ability to adapt tone of voice to a premium audience.

  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A collaborative mindset and confidence working with multiple stakeholders.

  • A genuine passion for travel and an understanding of aspirational, experience-led brands.

  • Comfortable appearing on camera when needed, or directing others to do so.

  • Be knowledgeable about and proactively use AI to manage content creation, platforms and reporting efficiently.
