The Role purpose: To deliver specialist internal communications and employee experience in order to support building high trust and well connected Teams across Secret Escapes Group.
Accountabilities:
- Alongside the Group Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience, drive the internal communications approach and delivery for all people related initiatives at SE Group, including:
- Copywriting comms materials and creating videos/other content as required
- Designing, owning and managing SE Group Communication Calendars, with a focus on people activity
- Collaborating with our social media teams to ensure close alignment to our external communications
- Embedding our internal communications platform, Happeo, across SE Group – continuously looking for ways to increase collaboration, employee engagement and raise the bar with related OKRs
- Managing/hosting the delivery of SE Brand’s and Travelist’s All Hands meetings, including developing pack content and hosting the meetings
- Managing SE Brand social activities and events – including the calendar and sequencing of them, as well as planning and delivery
- Support the communications approach to any internal announcements
- Support the Group Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience with key employee experience-related projects such as company inductions, employee engagement and embedding company culture and values
- Manage the design and delivery of SE group events – partnering with key stakeholders, internal network/social groups and third party providers to effectively do this
- Support the Group Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience to work and collaborate with DEI Network Leads to support the business’ DEI agenda – with a focus on communication and employee experience
- Collaborate with the wider People Team including Talent Acquisition, People Partners and People Services to deliver People solutions that are fully aligned to business strategy
- Identify opportunities for further group-wide collaboration on communications (and manage these projects where appropriate)

Technical Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Proven experience and specialist knowledge of copywriting and designing/ delivering communication campaigns using a range of channels, in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced writing (in English) and editing skills
- Substantial experience of working with social media
- Excellent story-telling skills and ability to creative a narrative within communication campaigns
- Event or transferable project management skills and experience, including financial planning
- Excellent relationship builder across functions with a proven ability to ‘connect the dots’ from different sources together
- Excel (or Google Sheets) experience and financial acumen for planning events
